teeef
I'll check out the 3rd Ed, but I don't have the Angels of Death 'Dex. I have it but I do not have a whole lot of time so I'll add what I find...I don't have time to check it against your list for duplicates though I know that the main characters are. Codex: Angels of Death P. 16 Chaplain Argastes is quoted in a call out box. P. 92 Commander Dante (who, "has ruled the Chapter for over 1,100 years!" And I had thought that was how old he was.) P. 93 Veteran Sergeant Cleutin (rumored to have been Commander Dante's Scout squad sergeant) P. 94 Chief Librarian Mephiston (Brother Calistarius befor conquering the Red Thirst) P. 96 Apothecary Corbulo, Sanguinary Priest P. 97 Brother-Captain Tycho (Erasmus Tycho) And that is what I could find. I will add, just because I am in the book, that they list the names of the first 10 terminator squads. These names, along with the squad numbe appear on the Sergeant's banner. 1. Remptor 2. Invictor 3. Avengor 4. Damnator 5. Venator 6. Vindictor 7. Destructor 8. Vexator 9. Signator 10. Praetor The codex lists the 1st Veteran Company as 20 Terminator or 10 Veteran Assault squads. I think it is interesting that they use the word "or" as this implies one or the other and not a mix. Also, you would think the Librarius would have better records because they are sure about all the rest of the Companies.
Nachocuban
10 - 10 man VAS = 20 - 5 man Termi squads.
teeef
10 - 10 man VAS = 20 - 5 man Termi squads.I had that thought too but the it does not say 100 BAs that can kit-out in tactical dread armor or with power armor and jump packs. That would have made sense. Plus, it would seem, for some actions you would want 2 VAs and 16 Termies or some other variant of the two types. That is why "or" is an odd choice of word. Nachocuban
I remember reading somewhere that unlike normal codex chapters who are fielded as veteran tactical squads when not wearing their terminator armor, our 1st company is fielded as assault squads. To me that seems like 20 terminator squads *or* 10 Assault squads.

Leonaides
Spawn of Execration (Space Hulk 2nd edition) - I'm sure any marine who makes it to Terminator status wouldnt be burdened with this particular name... ;-) Also, Brother Morleo ought to be added to the techmarine list (as he was the guy who built Moriar's dread)

Aleshar
Although a little bit of a necro post to be my first, i feel i can contribute to this topic by adding (a surprising amount) many have not, and a few others might not know of. Captain Raguel, the Sufferer of the 7th company (page 285 of the novel Soul Hunter), died on Terra, interned as a Dreadnought. Strike Cruiser Malevolence is on page 382 of the novel Soul Hunter. I will not post all their names, but point out to the OP if he owns the 5th edition (C:BA page 9) the names on said page could be added although unnecessary for those who own it. They are named characters as well as page 24, 25, 26, 28, 30, 32, bottom of said pages contain short quotes from named characters.
