Seahawk
Just a quick thought. The daemons blessing says: "The Daemon has a 2+ inv save against wounds caused by psychic powers or force weapons." With the new SW psychic power (don't know the name) that makes everything within x range difficult terrain for deepstrikers (thus dangerous), would the daemon get this save against dangerous terrain wounds? In a round way, the wounds were caused by a psychic power. The difficult terrain has been made by a psychic power, after all. Normally it would be open and fine. Thoughts? Frosty the Pyro
I would allow it, blessing of the blood god has a narrow enouph effect that you should let it be generous in its nitch. Captain Malachi
RAW-wise (and I'm shooting myself in the foot for saying this) I'd say no you don't get the save. The wounds weren't caused by the psychic power directly so wouldn't trigger the blessing. Grey Mage
You count as moving in Difficult and Dangerous terrain if your within 24" of the RP. You get a 2+ Invulnerable save against wounds caused by the Psychic Powers of your enemies. Hrmm. I dunno. Arikromus
I'd say no. The wounds are Dangerous Terrain wounds. It's not caused by the power. nighthawks
agreeing with "no" but I'm wondering how this will play out... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183568-blessing-of-the-blood-god-vs-sw-power/#findComment-2172132 Share on other sites
Seahawk
The dangerous terrain is only caused by a psychic power though. I know it's not direct causing, like Malachi said, but the next step behind, as it were. A delayed psychic wound. I recently got a bloodthirster, so I finally have the option for the blessing, hence why I thought of this. To put my own stance on it, RAW I'll have agree with no, but RAI is most definitely a yes. I think. Hm. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183568-blessing-of-the-blood-god-vs-sw-power/#findComment-2172699 Share on other sites
Grey Mage
Would the collar keep him from taking a difficult terrain test? I dont think so... so I think that he should take the dangerous terrain test aswell. rat of vengence
The actual wound isn't caused by the psychic power though. It is caused by the resultant dangerous terrain, but not the power itself. I say no, though it is a good question to ask. :P RoV Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183568-blessing-of-the-blood-god-vs-sw-power/#findComment-2173425 Share on other sites
