The 2010 Golden Bolter Painting Competition:

 

The Bolter and Chainsword is proud to announce the inaugural Golden Bolter Painting Competition.

 

The Golden Bolter competition is essentially a Golden Demon style painting contest dedicated to power armor.

 

Categories:

The inaugural event will have three categories:

Single Mini

Squad

Large model/Vehicle

 

Timeline and Judging:

Contestants can enter models from Nov. 1, 2009 through Jan. 31st, 2010.

 

Judging will begin on Feb. 1, 2010 and will be carried out by former Golden Demon and Slayer Sword winners.

The Judging staff consists of:

* Chris Borer

* Adam Catt

* Vincent Hudon

* Thomas Schadle

* Todd Swanson

* Jeff Wilhelm

 

Winners will be announced no later than Feb. 14, 2010

 

Prizes:

In addition to the overall winner receiving the Slayer Pattern bolt pistol, those who place 1st through 3rd in a category will receive purity seals in gold, silver or bronze resin.

I'm looking forward to this contest. I love the stuff that the members of this board put out, and can't wait to see what will come from this new contest. If the entries are anything like past contests, the judges will have a tough time choosing the best...

Ok folks, the 60 day reminder is here. Okay it is less than 60 days now but my furnace broke and I haven't had heat for the better part of 2 days -- all fixed now though!

 

Anyway, 60 days to get your entries in! Don't forget that it isn't just the placing entries that can get prizes there are a lot of "at random" prizes to be handed out. :)

The final week to get your Golden Bolter entries in has arrived. The last day to submit entries is Jan. 31st!!

 

Please remember that you must submit your entries via the email from the main rules page. Simply posting a thread here in the PCA will not suffice.
