Just a quick one on Wave Serpents (the Eldar are one of my main foes). Is it true that they ignore all weapons which give a 2d6 roll? So meltaguns, multi-melta's and melta bombs? Does their ability to only allow a maximum atr of 8 also apply to all those weapons?

(Sounds pretty awesome to me ... with 13 armour, you have to get a 6 to penetrate with what looks to be any weapon.)

 

All sounding too good to be true, hopefully you Wolves out there can help a pupling ;)

A Wave Serpents energy field protects the front and sides in shooting only. Shots to the front and sides are limited to a max of S8 and only roll one dice for armour pen.

 

Shots to the rear and cc attacks (your meltabombs) remain unaffected. Oh and front/side armour is 12 rather than 13. rear is 10.
