Brother Santios
Ok i have used the search forum but not found what i'm after so can anyone clear up the following If a Sternguard Squad moves can it still use its 'special' ammo types up to there maximum range ? I appreciate they cant assualt because the bolter is still a rapid fire weapon but does this mean that they must remain stationary to use special ammo ? JamesI
They are still rapid fire, so if they move, they fire 12 inches. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183662-sternguard/#findComment-2171595 Share on other sites
WH40778
If a Sternguard Squad moves can it still use its 'special' ammo types up to there maximum range ? They follow the normal rules for Rapid Fire. For example Kraken bolts have range 30", but they're still rapid fire so they can shoot up to 30" one time if stationary and up to 12" 2 times if moving. I appreciate they cant assualt because the bolter is still a rapid fire weapon but does this mean that they must remain stationary to use special ammo ? No, because Rapid Fire weapon can fire 2 times up to 12" also if moving Hope i'll be useful ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183662-sternguard/#findComment-2171601 Share on other sites
