Metal Apostle
What kind of putty are you using for that? Brown stuff? Milliput? But yeah, it's still a bit too early to really comment on the design. Terrible_Trygon
Brown stuff. I love it for armour work. It is no where near as sticky as green stuff and is very 'smooth' to work with. It also dries a lot harder. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183742-mk-ii-angel-pattern-power-armour/page/2/#findComment-2176752 Share on other sites
Terrible_Trygon
Made a new helmet. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Mk%20II%20Angel%20Pattern%20Power%20Armour/DSCF0785.jpghttp://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Mk%20II%20Angel%20Pattern%20Power%20Armour/DSCF0786.jpg Why? See for yourself. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Mk%20II%20Angel%20Pattern%20Power%20Armour/DSCF0784.jpg The new helmet is miles better, and actually looks like the original Sister helmet. Still need to add that vent and tech though... Anyways, I also have a shot with the unhelmeted head, and compared with a Actual Scale Marine, a Cadian, and a normal Marine. From the belt up. The sister had the bottom of her belt cut a little, since that is how much it will be cut down on later. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Mk%20II%20Angel%20Pattern%20Power%20Armour/Scale.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183742-mk-ii-angel-pattern-power-armour/page/2/#findComment-2189234 Share on other sites
Kid Famous The Punch
I realize we are both in similar projects right now. yours are looking pretty cool, a lot different than mine lol. I was wondering what that brown stuff you're skulpting in is called! I know green stuff ( which isn't fun) and Procrete (which is fun). What's that stuff? Terrible_Trygon
Well... http://www.getprice.com.au/images/uploadimg/1336/350_2266179-1.jpg Though the pack design has changed a little since then and it is now literally called 'Brown Stuff'. You also get more of it per pack. Terrible_Trygon
Decided to do some more work on the sculpt. I started the legs. It will all be ball jointed so that every pose will be different. Will be tricky, but I'm going to try. The basic structure of the legs is there. And I still need to file away at the pelvic area to get the hips right. The plastic lump was meant to be a armature, but I really had to file away at the brown stuff quite a bit. I also took the belt off the torso and put it on the lower half of the body. Made more sense to me really. Still, lots of work to do. Updates as progress continues will come shortly. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Mk%20II%20Angel%20Pattern%20Power%20Armour/DSCF0826.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183742-mk-ii-angel-pattern-power-armour/page/2/#findComment-2218888 Share on other sites
