The first was the AOBR sarg last year. This guy here is my first shot at a free hand banner. Although I am happy with it, if any of you guys have done free hand banners and can offer advice, please do so! All comments are welcomed! Blues are Necron Abyss, heavy highlight Regal blue, light highlight Ultramarine, wash with Asurmen blue (the vid adds space wolves grey but I don't do that anymore) Red is Mechrite Red, red gore, highlight with blood red (which I don't often do), wash with Baal Red Cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Brother_Fatiswon Posted January 10, 2010 Share Posted January 10, 2010 wow, i'm impressed... for real. i've bookmark ur page, so when i get back to painting, i'm going to be using your painting as the bar to met... the only thing i don't like, and it's a Crimson fist thing... the red on the chain casing of his chain sword... should IMHO should match the Casing of the bolt pistol (black) it takes away from the contrast between the red of the icons and hands and the blue armor plates.
