Emperor's Instrument
People I am about to begin a SW army but I am unsure of how to equip the Wolf Guard. We are looking at a 1500pt list led by Logan Grimnar with a 5 man WG in a LRC but i'm unsure of how best to arm them. Would they be best as 'all comers' or specialised assault termies as they are coming out of a LRC? Your guidance is very welcome. jimmyjames2112
that depends. I think squads of 10 WG with nothing but the basic equipment is a great idea with logan. maybe give one a fist and one other a combi melta or something along that idea. but basicly you would pay 3 points more per model to get grey hunters with an extra attack. Win =) (but no bolter) Other wise a 33 point term with a power sword and a storm bolter is pretty good VS power armour. Soon as you start to kit them out with extra gear. you start paying more per term then C:SM... as well as not being able to deep strike >,< As far as the 5 you should have with Logan. I suggest 1) TDA Power wepon Combi Melta 2) TDA Powerfist Combi-FLamer 3) TDA Powerwepon Storm Sheild 4) Arjak the almost HQ 5) TDA Powerwepon Stormbolter that is a nasty group able to pretty much destory any thing it assults. Although... Nob Bikers or Nobs with Gazgull will still win. Remember you can put an other term or a few power armour guys in there as well. i would recomend Wolf priest with Combi-Melta 3 WG with 0 upgrades to soak extra wounds Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183887-logans-wg/#findComment-2173818 Share on other sites
