Polaris
After reading the DH codex I am wondering if Hurricane Bolters get to rapid fire. Under the Land Raider Crusaider entry Each Hurricane Bolter counts as three twin linked boltguns The entry for a Bolter is "Rapid Fire" Any answers on this? silversmith82
Twin linked bolters. Bolters are rapid fire. So yes. And they always get to fire no matter what. This and potm is why the DH Crusader is the best tank in the game. jeffersonian000
Actually, its our old 3rd edition rule about being able to move up to 12" and still fire our Hurricane Bolters that makes the GK LRC the best in the game. All other LRC's in the game are limited to a move of no more than 6" to still be able to fire both Huricane sponsons. silversmith82
Yes, I know but I mean that old rule PLUS potm means we get to fire everything. 1 weapon normal, potm to fire the other, hurricanes always get to fire. jeffersonian000
If moving no more 6", all Crusaders can fire everything including the Dark Angel Crusader which is the worst one by far. What makes the GK Crusader different is that it retains the old 3rd edition rule for Hurricanes being fire regardless of distance moved, something no other codex can boast. This means that from 0"-6", all Crusaders can fire everything (excluding HK Missiles), while from 6"-12" the GK Crusader can fire its Hurricanes and one additional weapon. - 7eAL -
Can GKLRs use POTM? You sir, are far behind the times. Yes, thanks to the FAQ. The FAQ is on Games Workshop, and is best coupled with the Gotcha thread stickied above.
