Heimdal
Finished this piece some minutes ago and I`ll say it`s one of the most tedious models I`ve ever built. Those fins and doors really put a strain on you when painting the same thing over and over again. Anyhow, some pics! Finished product. Not weathered http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v630/Madmaster/Proper%20Drop%20Pod/IMGP0141.jpg Interior shot. Those with sharp eyes will notice the lack of weapon. Dont worry, the weapons are magnetized and can be exchanged without much fuzz. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v630/Madmaster/Proper%20Drop%20Pod/IMGP0145.jpg Open doors http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v630/Madmaster/Proper%20Drop%20Pod/IMGP0144.jpg Weathered pod http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v630/Madmaster/Proper%20Drop%20Pod/IMGP0146.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184024-sw-drop-pod/ Share on other sites

Corbulo
Nice work, I'm in the process of doing three right now for a mega battle. One question. Why didn't you use the SW icons on the doors? They are just blank. Corb Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184024-sw-drop-pod/#findComment-2176065 Share on other sites

Heimdal
Thanks for the replies. It makes the time spent on the model worthwhile :) One question. Why didn't you use the SW icons on the doors? They are just blank.Corb Well, those icons resemble Ragnar Blackmanes Great Company more than it represents my own Great Company, and thus I hasnt used them. Still figuring out what to put there instead. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184024-sw-drop-pod/#findComment-2176484 Share on other sites
Isiah
One of the best pods I've seen. The interior is great and the weathering is well considered and not overdone. Good job. Lord Noble
Surprisingly, the fins and doors were the easiest part of building that model. The inside was MURDER! There were at least two times I damn-near threw it on the ground... If I can paint my Droppod A QUARTER of the quality you painted this one, I'll be ecstatic. Keep it up! -J Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184024-sw-drop-pod/#findComment-2180740 Share on other sites
Gerrie
solid painting here, my only comment would be that the yellow striping could benefit from some shading/weathering, otherwise this paintjob is very well done Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184024-sw-drop-pod/#findComment-2181196 Share on other sites
