Spazmonkey
As a WGBL is an HQ choice and IC can you attach both a WG and a WGBL to say a unit of grey hunters? Edit: also a second question... Points wise is it worth running a unit of three LF in a Razorback with TLLC using the LF to fire their LC's from the sides Also using a sarg to split fire? Or is a full unit of LF a better option? muzzyman1981
Yup....one is an HQ and the other is attached to the unit via a seprate rule. Not getting the second half..... Ravenger
i think the second question is if u take long fangs do you need a leader in the squad to split fire, or can a wolf guard leader fill the spot. i do not believe you can run a squad without the original group sgt, its in the listing for it as 1 srg and 1-5 long fangs with heavy weapons. perhaps he wanted them in a razorback without the sgt Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184043-wgbl-and-wg/#findComment-2175724 Share on other sites
Spazmonkey
Sorry I think I explained that badly. Instead of taking a full unit of 6 Long fangs, what do you think of the idea of instead taking a Razorback with a TLLC, then taking a 3man unit of Long fangs in the Razorback. x2 with LC, and x1 sarg so you can still split fire? The three LF go in the Razorback, using the Portals to fire their LC out of while on the move in the razorback. so basically you have a razor back with TCLC and x2 LC shooting out of it as well.... Does that make more sense? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184043-wgbl-and-wg/#findComment-2175725 Share on other sites
littlbitz
there are no fire points on a Razorback, the heavyweapon is mounted where the hatch is. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184043-wgbl-and-wg/#findComment-2175732 Share on other sites
Skald_Thorgrimm
The three LF go in the Razorback, using the Portals to fire their LC out of while on the move in the razorback. Sorry, but the first problem with that is that the Razorback has no Fire Points. (C:SW, p40) So embarked units cannot shoot. The second problem I'd need to double-check the rules for, but I'm pretty sure that if a transport vehicle moves, the unit aboard counts as moving in the shooting phase. So you couldn't shoot those mounted lascannons even if you put them in a Rhino. Grey Mage
Yep, cant move and shoot with transports... atlest not heavy weapons anyways. Also note- if you move over 6" you cant shoot a darn thing, even an assault weapon.
