Allerka
There's been at least several threads already with people sharing ideas and suggestions for alternative models to use. Me, since I'm not actually playing as Space Wolves, just using the rules, I get a little more flexibility, and I'm going with Cold Ones from WHFB. Though getting the legs to fit is going to be an interesting challenge (even regular Tactical legs aren't wide enough)... Sutr
use them as werewolves instead of wolfmounts, ogre sized werewolves.. base and size is roughly the same and they sorta mix with the theme. OP was looking for an alternative model, didn't say it needed to be a woulf mounted SM Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184249-thunderwolf-what-to-dowhat-to-do/#findComment-2178068 Share on other sites
Skaldnir
Well, I'm currently using a converted juggernaut(from a Bloodcrusher) as a Thunder Wolf for my Iron Priest and it looks pretty good. Outside of that I don't know. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184249-thunderwolf-what-to-dowhat-to-do/#findComment-2178075 Share on other sites
JCarter
I too have my IP on a converted juggernaut. It does look just like what an IP would choose to ride.
