Impressive! You actually beat me to the conversion! I was going to use the same Chaplain model and Wolf helm combination, though I was not going to add the pelt (I already used it on my Battle Leader). I also used the Wolf Helm from the SW Pack box to make a Wolf Priest. To me the helmet doesn't look good unless its on a hero character such as a WP or RP.

Looks good!

I think it is a very nice conversion. I'm not against the pelt, but I'd probably use a smaller one. Maybe the pelt that's attached to the rear of the GH torso? You could use two pelts to get the effect you're looking for. Maybe one underneath the back of the jump pack and one on top of it.

like it the cape is cool, however the jump pack does seem a bit too high on him, if it was me i would try and hack away some of the bear pelt so the jump pack fits a little bit better, then tidy it up with greenstuff. personaly im not sold on the wolf helm on my wolves its nice but i prefer bare heads as i find you can add alot more dynamic movement with the hair

looking good so far, are you planning on doing anything else to it?

I´ve added some Wolf teils and a new belt

It´seems that GW had forgotten how to make good fitting metal models. If you try to put the Jumppack on the Chaplain it doesn´t fit at all. Cause of the arms and shoulder pads the jumppack if already far away from the back. Through the pelt the jumppack is a bit higher then normal it looks much better then without. I´m very happy with the result and together with his Skyclaw Pack he´s an absolutly outstanding personality.

nice conversion, but the thing is to me, the cape doesn't fit well with the jump pack. Having wolf pelts over his shoulder pads, or as a tabard would work, but the long cape and a jump pack doesn't seem to fit well. Mostly cause that cape would be charred and burned and would become more of a hinderance than simply being impressive. But thats just me. Otherwise i think its a great conversion.

If You can get Your hands on it - try the wolf tabard from Chaos Marauder Horsemen - the one on the right

I have used it on GH models and it fits perfectly under the power-backpack and has a slightly leftward motion, suggesting some dynamics.

I like the concept but the execution seems a little off. That cloak + bear pelt doesn't seem to fit and I'm afraid the head on a miniature in that pose just makes me think of:

Sorry to sound negative; I think there is a lot of potential in that miniature.
