Dezartfox
Taking a break from the Crusader I'm trying to get done for the GT I painted up one of the Rogue Trader (or Mark 3a) Terminators, I decided to go for Imperial Fists, mainly because Yellow is a pain to paint, and I like bright colours, also it'd be good practice trying to improve my accuracy and hand-to-eye co-ordination due to the way I painted it. Paint scheme was pretty simple, Grey primer Wash with badab black, Iyanden darksun on the armour wash that and the leg creases with Devlan mud (not weapons or grey parts though) a few coats of thinned yellow bleached bone highlight skull white extreme highlight All in the usual streaky style I am cursed with ::D Note it's not finished! http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/Models/IMG00110-20091108-1202.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/Models/IMG00112-20091108-1203.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/Models/IMG00113-20091108-1203.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/Models/IMG00114-20091108-1203.jpg A few things I've noted so far. - Certain areas need a few more coats of yellow, shoulder pads and the top carapace for example. - blue and yellow make green. I had to change the way I do the eye glow otherwise it would have been green! Here's the army I've got to clean up and paint! http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/Models/IMG00030-20091030-2325.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/Models/IMG00026-20091030-2325.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/Models/IMG00027-20091030-2325.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/Models/IMG00028-20091030-2325.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/Models/IMG00029-20091030-2325.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184358-imperial-fists-ahoy/ Share on other sites
