Trying to create my army

So I'm trying to create my wolves army with the new dex. I want to use Logan in my army possibly centered around him. I want to make an army that I could possibly use in an actual tournment and hold my own. I was wondering if I shou make use of using wolf guard as troops. So I'm wondering what everyone thoughts are and what I should do. Also I was wondering what the rule was with attacks and a bolt pistol and lighting claws and whether or not we get the bonus for using to close combat weapons.

Well, if you plan on taking Logan anyway, then there really isn't any reason not to, except for saving yourself a few points.

 

Also I was wondering what the rule was with attacks and a bolt pistol and lighting claws and whether or not we get the bonus for using to close combat weapons.

 

How about you go into the main Rulebook and read about Lightning Claws on the page for Special Close Combat Weapons, then this should be pretty clear to you.
