forces of chaos trying to prevent you!)

We will wait Brother ;)

Simply amazing work, Brother! If you ever find yourself in San Francisco I have stein of ale with your name on it.

These will be great for those models like Logan who have a blank shoulder pad I can't replace with the ones I use or the banner on the new FW Dread. I can't express how grateful I am for your dedication and generosity for thiis.

"Anyone home?Brother Stinkenheim...?!"

As stated before this thread is simply too good to be lost and to tell the truth I still can't figure out just how to paint Ragnar's symbol.

So please update us brother, I'll just leave this enormous barrel of wolfwhiz here as bait :D .

Ummm, yeah, this update might have taken a tad longer than initially thought *dodges a hunk of mutton* but it's here... it's here. and look, *points in the other direction* there's some ale... *runs away while everyones distracted*

Right first up is Sven Bloodhowls company markings. These couple of tuts might seem a little rougher than before but the principle is the same as ever. Practice makes perfect and all that jazz.

1) Start by drawing a curve towards the bottom 1/4 of the area you are painting. This is the bottom of the wolfs head, there will be an additional part for his neck later so you need enough room to fit that on.

Onto that curve draw a straight line pointing up, this is the bridge of the snout.

2) Draw a 'T' shape coming off of the upright. This is the end of the nose and the top jaw.

3) Ok, now you need to add a horizontal line to the bottom of the previous 'T' to form the back of the mouth. Onto this you need to add an upside down 'U' shape. This is at a bit of an angle as its the bottom jaw.

4) To connect the bottom left hand part of the curve from step 1, and the lower jaw you need to draw a curvy 'W' as this will be the fur under the chin.

You also need to add a triangle along the snout, about halfway should do it, this is his eye.

Now from the bottom part of that triangle you need to add a curve to form his ear.

5) Now add some triangles in the mouth for the teeth.

6) Now add some curved triangles to the bottom of his neck. I also tidied up any areas that weren't quite how I wanted, the ear had a little bit done to it, as did the nose.

7) Now you add the scruff of his neck. Simply draw a horizontal line underneath the curve. This is the lowest point of the marking and you need room to fill in a couple of details so don't draw it too close.

8) Now draw in the fur using the back of the wolfs head as a guide. There should be a small gap, but if you mess up don't worry you can simply tidy it up with whatever colour paint you used for the background.

You also need to add a couple of points of fur at the left hand corner of the neck/shoulder.

9) Paint it all black, leaving a small triangle for the eye.

10) Lastly paint in the flames. I started off the shape by using a 'Y' for the base and then going from there.

Ta da!! Said I'd eventually update it... although I'm sure I wasn't the only one to lose faith in my ability to do that lol.

Sorry that the angles a bit skewed on some of the shots, trying to get a clear photo without too many shadows meant I had to angle my pad a bit.
