thade
Just a few color and icon questions. I'm making an all WG force (not all in TDA) lead by Mr. Logan himself. 1. Should all of the WG have his mark (the Great Wolf)? 2. Can/should some of them have his personal mark (the one he had before he became the Great Wolf)? 3. Can Wolfguard from other companies be present/represented? 4. Instead of painting my tanks with a brush, or buying an airgun, I think I may spraypaint them WHITE and highlight them with Space Wolves Grey...perhaps even use the blue/grey colorings and have the tanks appear to be in Snow Camo colors. How bad of an idea is this, fluffwise? I think artistically it could look cool (my space wolves are all in Space Wolf Grey, and they're going to get Sky Blue highlights...the "Sky Warriors") with the blue space wolves next to the snow white tanks. I'll be sticking Wolf Iconography all over the tanks, regardless. Night Runner
Personally, I used the Night Runner badge, since I'm a bit too lazy to make decals. I use them as Logan's Company before he became Great Wolf in large games or simply as another company led by a Champion or 2nd-in-C (with a Wolf Lord's stats). Works for me. As long as I keep to wysiwyg with the troops I don't have any problems. thade
Spray tank white and highlight space wolves grey? Yes. As in, while the Space Wolf infantry will all be in Space Wolves Grey, the tanks would be in White. Doing the edges in SWG would be a subtle link to the army's primary color. I might also add some snow camo splotches on to the tanks. In short. White tanks. Blue-and-Grey wolves. Warhorse47
Sounds like an interesting paint scheme, could be very striking. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184732-space-wolf-colors-and-iconography/#findComment-2184013 Share on other sites
