MuGGzy
I am thinking of building a second army and keeping it small and elite and I have always liked the Grey Knight models and fluff. I was wondering what the general concensus was as far as how viable the list is? Is it a "fun" army to play? Can they be competitive? Are they only good against demon armies? fuzbuckle
I just started playing a few months ago and after a brief stint with C:SM and Daemonhunters, I have settled in on Daemonhunters. I have won more games than I have lost and have found that while pure GK's is viable, it is very difficult in many circumstances as well. Mixing in inquisitorial forces, for me, made the list more fun to play as it has allowed me some cheap but effective troops choices as well as providing a bit more target of a targeting dilemma for my opponents (should they go for one of my 2 Rhino's with the melta, my Land Raider with the Termies or take some pot shots at my foot slogging power armor Grey Knights as opposed to choosing to target the Land Raider with GK's, or the other Land Raider with GK's). The folks on this board have been incredibly helpful from both a list building and strategy standpoint. I'd say hang around for a few days, check out a few lists, grab a codex (you can get one dirt cheap from e-bay), proxy some units in a game and I'm sure you'll be a heritic haten', chaos spawn slaying, xenos crushing member of the Inquisition in no time. May the light of the Emperor guide you in this most noble decision.
