tastytaste
-folks so over at my blog we are having a discussion about thunder cav http://bloodofkittens.com/?p=1939 the one thing that no one mentioned was what about basing? I am curious on what you guys think is the right base size? Of course you can go with fantasy cav bases but you have canis on that big base. What do you think is kosher? Thanks! Niiai
A regular fenrision space wolf counts as two units in a transport, so that is a 40mm base. Now a space marine on a wolf realy sound like he should be bigger (that wolf is careing a giant in metal and ceramic plates.) Although Canis is sead to have a thunderwolf that is as big as a troll (I realy wonder how the fauna is on the world) I think they should be 60mm. What do other cavalery in 40.k use? Ominous Anonymous
2 spots in a transport =/= 40mm base. They go on a biker base since they are cavalry. As for TWC, Canis comes on a 60mm base, the same used for dreadnoughts, and since that's the base model for TWC, I'd assume they all go on 60mm. MaveriK
Try using the search function before you have a question, chances are its already been asked or covered. It just helps keep the clutter, and repetitive topics down inside the Fang http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...howtopic=183143 :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184812-thunder-cav-info-and-question/#findComment-2184561 Share on other sites
