I may have read the 'dex wrong but I'm pretty sure that the option that allows you to take Plasma Pistols or Power Weapons only allows for the bolt pistol to be replaced, which would mean that if you take a power weapon that model has no ranged weapons, just 2 CCW's....which is why I was planning on taking the plasma pistols.

I was rather surprised when I noticed that last night myself and I hadn't seen any mention of it in this thread so thought I would point it out...definitely makes the power weapon a "no-go" in my opinion.

Before the new dex' I used to run plasma pistols and plasma gun. Now I am actually foregoing "behind enemy lines" all together and just infiltrating my scouts. I have five scouts armed with bolters and a missile launcher. At only 85 points I like how this works in games 1500 or less. I like having the missile launcher, especially since I haven't added long fangs yet. Its really nice to have a BS 4 missile launcher deploying where it can threaten the most from turn 1...
