Marshal Wilhelm
canguard - is that a stubbyholder / wetsuit for a can of beer? ;) :) Anyways, If you paint them as SW it will be fine. If you are worried about Wolfiness then use the new SW box set to wolf them up. Wolftails, head/ helmet swaps, attaching wolfy bolt pistols, and adding the wolf embellishments to the SG bolters will give you a unique SW unit. I guess you would use them for Wolf Guard? Night Runner
I probably could tell you if I knew what a canguard model is? :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184836-what-should-i-use-canguard-models-for/#findComment-2185106 Share on other sites
Gyson_Vore
VanGuard. If you look at your keyboard, the letters C and V are very close, so one can easily hit the wrong key. As the Wolfiness, I feel that as long as they have the colors, they should work fine. AdeptusDavidus
I think the Space Marine veteran models - Vets 1, Vets 2, Sternguard and Vanguard - would all work fine as Wolves. They don't have all the wolfy stuff on them, but they do have a fair amount of generic bling, and I think that bling, wolfy or otherwise, is pretty vital for making Space Wolves really look like Space Wolves. Just throw some good colors on them, maybe a pelt or wolftail or whatever, if you feel like it needs to be really driven home. Schertenleib
DV8 did a great job with his Vanguard SW models. If you do a search I'm sure you can find them, or he might be kind enough to post another pic or link :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184836-what-should-i-use-canguard-models-for/#findComment-2185209 Share on other sites

It was just an attempt at levity! A poor attempt I admit.
