commander alexander
You could just say you think they are distracting. <_< And I believe they are patches of snow or ice. Its great to see those thunder wolves finished, the last time I saw them they were still just wire and green stuff. I really like the ones with the bionic eyes. Natanael
How do you paint your vehicles? They are, I think, by far the best i've ever seen. GREAT! job! - Natanael Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184866-wolfwing-1750p/page/6/#findComment-2411312 Share on other sites
capt.nuss
Quickyupdate on a Vindishield i did this evening a wanted to share http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j92/wieims/PICT0106-1.jpg Basically its about a SW Drop Pod assault freeing a imperial city from an eldar attack/siege sth. The pic was initially unplanned, it just evolved while doing, as i had to tale a break from painting recently, and just did what came to my mind now. Dark Sire
Top effort mate, i must admit i never really considered doing any weathering on my mini's before because i've always fancied a crisp clean paint job, but after seeing your vehicle's its seriously got me reconsidering. Very tasty ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184866-wolfwing-1750p/page/6/#findComment-2445135 Share on other sites

Keyoz Devastrius
The freehand is great, but to me it looks like those two space wolves are running away form the eldar and that dark figure in the background. Raye
That's stunning. How do you get so much detail on there? Do you use the GW brushes? Amazing work, really. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184866-wolfwing-1750p/page/6/#findComment-2445362 Share on other sites

cathar the great
All the shield designs are true works of art. Loving this thread ^^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184866-wolfwing-1750p/page/6/#findComment-2633579 Share on other sites
Rogan
It seems to me that creating unique siege shields is the black these days. You did a truly great job; wish I had a Vindicator to do that, too. Is the first shield depicting a scene from the Ragnar Blackmane saga? Natanael
I just sat staring for a min or 2. The vindi shields are so darn good I can't really say anything. You should be proud that you can manage such works of art on such a small surface. The only thing I might add as a suggestion is making some weathering, like bullet-holes or something in them. A trace of 4-6 smaller shots in a row, and/or a larger one would really make them look great. - Natanael Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184866-wolfwing-1750p/page/6/#findComment-2634613 Share on other sites
