Quillen
I preorder 5 of the wolf Lord Morgrim or what ever his name is at 30 bucks a pop. Now we hear about someone actually making what we need. lol And of course they will have different heads and stuff. SO I will have to shell out even more money. My wife is going to kill me. Grie Velorn
Guess you guys never took a look at Privateer press then. Click No those have been suggested quite a bit before, people just rather not spend 30$'s for a wolf and useless rider(To them not useless in general). Can't wait to see what these look like, I have been wanting to do a purchase from them for a while and this may be the best chance to do so. wiplash
We still haven`t figured out the final price.Definitely it will be cheaper than Canis :D i would blooming well hope so hope fully these will be able to be bought in packs of 5 or even 10 with a little discount from buying 1 otherwise i can see these getting expensive hopefully they do these models well in my opinion all the other minis out there are too small, too werewolf like, or to rat like Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184868-new-custom-thunderwolf-mounts/#findComment-2187887 Share on other sites

jadex1
In time will GW eventually realese there own Thunder wolf models? I have been wondeirng that for a while now. Stormwulf133
In time will GW eventually realese there own Thunder wolf models? I have been wondeirng that for a while now. Does anyone think they will do that? Lets hope not. They apparently do not sculpt animals with their eyes open and instead rely on the Force to guide them. Seriously, why are they SOOO bad at sculpting animals? Lets hope Forgeworld does some fairly reasonable priced ones.... Grimfoe
Looking at the GW website, there is a 40K novel featuring the Thunderwolf riders coming out in the spring. I imagine we'll see GW minis at the same time. I imagine we'll see GW minis at the same time. That would be greats, hopefully in plastic to keep the cost down too - it's a great bit of news considering the local redshirt manager and store were given an internal memo saying that canis was the only thunderwolf planned to be made for this edition. Having some plastics come our way would make it SO much cheaper. although I will probably already have bought so many canis models that it will keep some redshirt employed for over a week. DanTheManGum
Here´re the first pics of the MaxMini WolfsMaxMini Wolfs I wish they had a finished one with a size comparison to Fangir. It's cool that they will have interchangable heads and all but it really needs to be an appropriate size. I guess Tuesday maybe we'll actually find out :P. Night Runner
Here´re the first pics of the MaxMini WolfsMaxMini Wolfs Thanks for the pics mate. I think they look promising. Growler67
I saw stated that slightly smaller than Canis' mount but still large by comparison to all else available at present. (paraphrasing) I just wonder what they'll be made of. Plastic would be best, IMO, but resin would be cool. Metal would be my 3rd choice if I had any input. Brother Amarel
Really nice looking, too. Be good to get a size comparison just to confirm that nothing is slightly out of whack, scale-wise. Evilmerlin
Nice looking indeed. Placing it on a 60mm base should give a good sense of scale I think. Pretty sure Jervis was quoted by more than one person at GDUK as having said that TWC would be coming in the Second Wave of SW releases.... after all, there's 2 waves for pretty much every codex, and what else are they going to put in there?
