Darkseer
I'm gonna hold out for Forgeworld. Then I'll get some truly stunning models and they'll be tournament legal. They'll probably be £30 a pop though. LoneSniperSG
In time will GW eventually realese there own Thunder wolf models? I have been wondeirng that for a while now. Does anyone think they will do that? Lets hope not. They apparently do not sculpt animals with their eyes open and instead rely on the Force to guide them. Seriously, why are they SOOO bad at sculpting animals? Lets hope Forgeworld does some fairly reasonable priced ones.... Huh.. I don't quite know what you mean there. I thought the model of Fangir (Canis Wolfborn's wolf) was awesome. Some of the other animals, though, I agree with you on. Lord Scythican
@lonesniper i thought the tounge sticking out was a bit silly ._. With some sculpting skills, and some green stuff that is a easy fix. TopToffee
@lonesniper i thought the tounge sticking out was a bit silly ._. in their defence, hauling a tonne or so of Space Marine across the battlefield at full tilt is probably thirsty work Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184868-new-custom-thunderwolf-mounts/page/2/#findComment-2194695 Share on other sites

Mr Fulgrim
Looking at the GW website, there is a 40K novel featuring the Thunderwolf riders coming out in the spring. I imagine we'll see GW minis at the same time. That would be greats, hopefully in plastic to keep the cost down too - it's a great bit of news considering the local redshirt manager and store were given an internal memo saying that canis was the only thunderwolf planned to be made for this edition. Pretty sure Jervis was quoted by more than one person at GDUK as having said that TWC would be coming in the Second Wave of SW releases.... after all, there's 2 waves for pretty much every codex, and what else are they going to put in there? Its just to bad the new TWC will probably look the same as canis wolfborn, damn that wolf is ugly... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/184868-new-custom-thunderwolf-mounts/page/2/#findComment-2195038 Share on other sites

ORKILL
Really nice looking, too. Be good to get a size comparison just to confirm that nothing is slightly out of whack, scale-wise. Recheck the the link above brother. There is a pic of the wolf next to an AOBR marine. maznaz
Meh. Not impressed at all. Nowhere near big enough and a pretty bad model, with all the attention gone into the head and none into the body. Wispy
My thoughts: 1. Buy Wolf Lord Morraig from Privateer Press 2. Cut off rat head 3. Attach 'Giant Wolf' head.
