Vann Harl
I dont know who hasn't seen this guys artwork yet but some of it is really really good check it out on deviantart.com http://sttheo.deviantart.com/ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185098-grey-knight-artwork/ Share on other sites
Skyhawk
Old... but awesome in a few places. Don't mistake this for anything official though. It's just the author's vision (pretty false in a few places). Artein
But still there's a chance for it to become new codex cover.... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185098-grey-knight-artwork/#findComment-2188491 Share on other sites
Skyhawk
It is false and wrong in many places so it will not be a cover. Simple. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185098-grey-knight-artwork/#findComment-2189413 Share on other sites
Uncle Mel
Added to that it is quite old already and not in the same style as other codex covers... - 7eAL -
Added to that it is quite old already and not in the same style as other codex covers... More correctly, it is not quite in the style of Paul Dainton and Alex Boyd codex covers. It seems those two have been doing everything lately, and they're very difficult to tell them (and Karl Kopinski) apart from each other at certain times. Together they make for a very consistent style across a codex. Some of the new art in the Guard codex was done by someone I have yet to identify, possibly Nuala Kinrade (nee Kennedy?), and it stands out slightly by stylistic differences alone. StTheo might have been easier to include at an earlier point in time when a variety of styles were included in the books without any strong aims of uniform appearance. He doesn't have the same sense of Space Marine proportions as Boyd and Dainton, and he's almost incompatible with everyone else. Justicar Valius
Yes but the tyranids style is now different. However this shall not be included due to the grey knight titan and the chances of codex:inquisition (and that cover will be a deathwatch captain proudly showing his ultramarine shoulder pad) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185098-grey-knight-artwork/#findComment-2191014 Share on other sites
- 7eAL -
Yes but the tyranids style is now different. Who's doing the Tyranids cover? Nuala Kinrade? Reminds me of the style used for the Primaris Psyker artwork.
