jadex1
So it says Njals Staff nullifies enemy psychic powers on a roll of +3. my last game against a nids player we had a disscussion becaus this came up. If a Zonothrope shoots of his powers that don't require a psychic test, can they still be nulified, as well as does Njals staff have a range? stinkenheim
his runic weaopon ahs the same range as any other (24" i think) i would say no to the warp blast power that doesn't need a psychic test (the str 5 one if im not mistaken), much like synapse, the horror, warp field and pyshic scream if it doesn't require the psychic test then i don't think you can dispell it. i might be wrong but thats my feeling on it and without trawling through my rulebook i can't gurantee that it is the correct stance. Grey Mage
It says "whenever they pass a psychic test" so no test, no nullification. Wich sucks. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185144-question-about-njal/#findComment-2188929 Share on other sites
jadex1
So, even though the wording for his ability says, on a roll of +3 the psychic power is nulified we should still treat it as the same as a runic weapon, with just a better roll? Yes, as it specifies that it acts like a Runic Weapon. Keep in mind that it will also hit demons on a 2+, same as runic weapon. Another reason why our Rune Priests are top notch. Vrox.
