nurglespuss
Thanks guys :P appreciated! The original model was the terminator librarian (a really well made model by GW). The face was drilled out with a dremel dril (and round-sphere small grinding bit). and thanks! tough is what I after!!! :D Just gotta decide on colours now!! (Grey armour - like the rest of my army, white fur/or white fur with brown centre), thats as far as I got so far!! :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185249-wip-rune-priest-in-terminator-armour/page/2/#findComment-2193051 Share on other sites
Levitas
I love it. Just pure awesome decked in fur. You have to salute gamers how break out the dremel and start hacking away at the metals. Its not easy, and to that you display great sculpting with the greens. An example to us all! Fine stuff. Always have been a big fan of that model, but you have made it look even better. nurglespuss
Thanks Levitas! thats really nice of you! ;) I'm still learning when it comes to green stuff, but keep trying eh? I can't wait to paint him, but I have to be a good boy and work this week, then I get a reward! Aeddon
Love it, this is looking really good. If I had to say anything it'd be that the transition from the wolf claw to the pelt is a little hard to see at first but that'll probably be better once it's painted. nurglespuss
Hi there thanks :) yep, I know exactly what you mean! I'm hoping it'll become more obvious with paint :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185249-wip-rune-priest-in-terminator-armour/page/2/#findComment-2194482 Share on other sites
Beef
Excellent, Maybey I can now use some of your methods to increase Logan in height to match the rest of the newer models Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185249-wip-rune-priest-in-terminator-armour/page/2/#findComment-2195377 Share on other sites
nurglespuss
Very good idea! Thats been my concern as well, I do love that figure, but the pose (I know he's running but it looks too stooped) and the 'older' size, before the full size increase on terminators, means he just doesn't 'stand out' at the moment. If it were me, I would assault that model with a saw, and salvage what I could to combine with the new plastic kits (or perhaps lysander/calgar (haven't thought that through!)) to make him large and in charge (but look the same detail wise) Thanks again, and good luck!!
