Xeenos
Okay, so.. Saga of the Iron Wolf, +d3' of movment to any Vehicle he is in. Well first this char cant get any Vehicle starting, besides a Bike. So my question is, if i have my Iron Priest on a bike, does he get the +d3 movment, or does it have to be like a rhino or something. Furthermore, does his Thrall-Servitors move at the same speed while he is on a bike? And im not sure ive read it anywhere, but i asume Wolves taken as wargear to a char on a bike/thunder wolf can move at the same speed as their master, yes? nurglespuss
Hi there  a 'bike' isn't a 'vehicle' in game terms, so unfortunately nope! and the rune priest has to move at the slowest spead of the slowest model in his unit (equally cyber wolves have to move at his speed). Also, though he can't take his own vehicle, he can join a squad and board another, or board an independent transport.... He can Dragoon someone else's transport though and give them D3 extra movement which counts as such (i.e. no 3 inch move, deploy assault or 8 inch move and shoot) woooo! Saga of the Iron Wolf is basically useless. Just pretend it isn't there. jimmyjames2112
Nah man. On a bike he can hide around your transports (namely LR) so if they get immobilised they wont be entirely usefull. then once your in the thick of it. you can turboboost to what ever Barrage or other type of tank they are trying to hide, then put that THunderhammer to use Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185277-iron-priest-question/#findComment-2191001 Share on other sites

Wispy
of course not. the Iron Priest moves at the speed of the slowest model in the unit. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185277-iron-priest-question/#findComment-2191037 Share on other sites
bravelybravesirrobin
lol give him cyber wolves & servitors with heavy weapons, an interesting shooting/assault unit. If by interesting you mean crap at both. Thralls are pretty useless for Space Wolves. The Iron Priests ability to fix things is also negligible. If you use a lot of pillboxes he'd be average but what SW player uses pillboxes? On a bike he can fix rhinos or land raiders but generally you don't need them to be fixed all that much. Basically take him on a thunderwolf with 4 cyberwolf buddies for a cheap-ish fast-ish assault unit or not at all. I prefer not at all frankly. Prophecy
I find him on a TW with four CW buddies to be a great addition to my Canis/Cav list. He's really my favorite unit and has racked up a higher body count than Canis himself. Him, four wolf buddies, WT Tali and WT Necklace. Freakin' awesome. Ullr Direfang
from a fluff point of view i like them. and if i ever decide to run a heavy mech list i might put one in for the ability to "hopefully" keep landraiders and such going.
