Terrible_Trygon
A Squad Sargent, made using a previous work. I am very proud of this model. Her pose is perfect. However, there are still things to tweek, the most obvious being the flak armour. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0870.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0871.jpg Next we have a completed trooper, armed with plasma gun. I have taken away the gun in the last shot to show you how I combined Empire Trooper with Cadian feet. This is a very fast process and takes a few minutes. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0872.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0873.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185287-witch-hunter-blog/page/2/#findComment-2237506 Share on other sites
Capt. Lysander
Yup, I really like your Vindicare sister as well. Fantastic use of a head. Nice scheme of the trooper as well, rare to see troopers in WWII Brit helmets :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185287-witch-hunter-blog/page/2/#findComment-2237820 Share on other sites
Terrible_Trygon
The helmet is actually based of this Empire helmet. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/helmet.png Problem was that the helmet ended up a bit streamlined. Not too bothered though. He'll be one in dozens, so he'll fit in either way. This will not be a World War based army. There are like a trillion of those in the form of Guard armies, anyways. These guys and gals will go medieval. The classic path of the Ordo Hereticus, I find. With most conversions, the middle ages are associated with Space Marines, so this'll be interesting. Are you planning to use more Bretonnian bling, or Empire? Terrible_Trygon
I have a mix of the two. I finally got my Bretonnian bits recently, along with some more Empire bits. Their arrival was delayed by the heavy snow fall. I will update when I have more troops done. Terrible_Trygon
Wut. Anywho; The Sargent is nearing completion. Just need to give her a once over with the file, sculpt the last armour pieces, finish the las pistol and add the equipment. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0911.jpghttp://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0912.jpg Her squad is coming along nicely too. First we have the missile launcher team. I am basing them on two bases instead of one big one out of preference. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0913.jpghttp://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0914.jpg And the large guy that carries the missiles. Very WIP. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0918.jpg Next is the second and last woman in the squad. Still work to do on her head and arms. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0916.jpg And a guy that needs his legs sculpted. One of the quicker models in the squad. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0917.jpg And finally; the Platoon Officer. Looking good so far. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0919.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185287-witch-hunter-blog/page/2/#findComment-2246727 Share on other sites
Capt. Lysander
Nice choice of the missile launcher's helmet. It looks ideal for either a missile-launcher, or a flame-thrower. Terrible_Trygon
Updated this model. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0969.jpg A new guy. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0977.jpg The Squad Sargent finished, sans the pistol and equipment. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0974.jpghttp://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0976.jpg And the updated second woman of the squad. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0971.jpghttp://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0972.jpg The Heavy Weapon team. They just need equipment. I am currently working on a missile case for the loader. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0953.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0954.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0955.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k156/Terrible_Trygon/Witch%20Hunters/DSCF0956.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185287-witch-hunter-blog/page/2/#findComment-2298306 Share on other sites
IronDuke
Just have to say I love the look and feel of this army so far. Eventually I want to put together an Inquisitor and retinue to go along with my marines, and I was thinking of going down a very similar route to you. I love your choice of bits, and I am very envious of your green stuffing abilities. Keep it coming, ID Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185287-witch-hunter-blog/page/2/#findComment-2298617 Share on other sites
