Ragnar Blood Giver
I've spokern to many here for advice on many issues regarding the wolves, this being over rules and also over painting etc.. for all the help I have recived... I thank you all, considering my brother switched to the DA and sold his army to me, and has been a waste of time when I ask for help. so I have added this to my wolf army... these are my first painting jobs any pointers on how to paint any better are greatly welcome. http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff123/emphand1/njal1.jpg njal from the front.. http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff123/emphand1/njal2.jpg I still need to finish off some bits on him but hey he has provern himself in battle; abide I've only used him once but he took out a bunch of chaos jump packers with a chaos lord... R1 throw a d3 6 so 1+3 =4 living hurricane, trapped his jumpers and his rhinos. by the time we were finished with them they had to do a morale check which they failed, and had to withdraw 10". oops they ran of the table with a chaos lord aswell..... http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff123/emphand1/WG1.jpg these are some left over terminators that I converted and used magnets so I can mix and match weapons. Arjac at the forefront.. and my lone wolf to the right of him with a mixed black/wolf colouring (death watch black), and boy with twin wolf claws he causes problems... http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff123/emphand1/LR1.jpg My acid scorched LR (with a helios launcher). I still have to do touch ups on these models... but I would like to thank those I ask for advice here on this site, and also at my local shop in developing my models and understanding. Night Runner
The pics are not all that good so I can't tell with certainty, but your minis, while painted well seem to lack a bit of highlights along the edges. Also you should get a diluted dark gray and with a fine brush run along the edges of the armour and between the fingers. This makes the model crisper and gives a semblance of shadows. I hope you find this useful. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185350-thank-you/#findComment-2191622 Share on other sites

Ragnar Blood Giver
@ brother stormclaw this is just a standard assault termi due to lack of finances I had to adapt the models I bought from my brother,I plan in the future to purchase the actual wolf termi box, so here is what I have done my best to do at this time.. http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff123/emphand1/DSC00260.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff123/emphand1/DSC00261.jpg now with magnet arms... http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff123/emphand1/DSC00262.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff123/emphand1/DSC00263.jpg hope this helps I've use magnets and nail heads so I can mix and match my models.. this is my lone wolf... I've mainly kept him black keeping with the 'death watch' with wolf touch ups.. but believe me brothers no one wants to fight him as he keeps running around the field lile a lunatic, and all others back of and don't want to get into CC with him.... http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff123/emphand1/DSC00264.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff123/emphand1/DSC00265.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff123/emphand1/DSC00266.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff123/emphand1/DSC00267.jpg Like I said I still need to do touch ups and height lighting etc.. but for those who cant think they can not paint models, practise make perfect and it's only time before we can all paint nice models.... Jonas Stromclaw
Thanks for the close up pics. What size magnets do you use? Ive got 1/8 inch circular rare earth magnets for my PA guys but I dont know if that'll be big enough for the terminators when I get them. Nice paint job, I especially like the lone wolf!
