Fenris Gaming Board

I am asking for a Home Depot gift card for Christmas so that I can put my how-to-build-a-gaming-board instructions from the July 2007 issue of WD to use.

One side will have tiles, for painting, and the other side will be an ice world, complete with frozen river, Stonehenge (Arcane Ruins), trees, a small fortress maybe, and hills.

But, when I carve out the river from the board, I'm going to hang onto the river insert so I can play without it if I want to.

Yes maverik, of course weve talked about this one before... but it has been several months- you want the frater to practice thread-o-mancy?

@JTMW: Those sound like good ideas. Another one is to just do the river as a "frozen" river. There are a number of clear goo places that will make a water looking substance, some of wich if done "improperly" will turn white. You could use the part you take out as the basis for a cast, make a true frozen river, and then just glue it in over the oppopriate color, and maybe some rocks.

huh? :) in normal cases, when I put up links of similar, older trends I say "please use searchy" in this case I pointed out those trends to help the guy with some ideas... so yes, we've talked about this before, even if those trends are several months older, there more of a reference than anything, still very helpful and can give ideas for the OP. Nor was I implying a practice of thread-o-mancy.

My apologies.... I misunderstood your linking.

Edit: Ironically, I beleive it was the smiley that did it *wince*.
