Chaplain PowerFist

I recently purchased the powerfist Chaplain from Games Workshop and wanted to see if I could get some clarification about the rules of his weaponry.

 

1. As he has both a power weapon and powerfist does this mean that I can choose which weapon to use? Or am I restricted to the use of only the powerfist.

 

2. I also assume that I will, in either case, not gain the advantage of having 2 close combat weapons.

he can use either weapon, best to choose before each round of combat, but won't gain +1 attack, since he can't get two powerfists or CCWs at this point
