OMG! I love the gold on the chaplain and the lightning claws on the commander, but can I ask where did you get the awesome commander mini from I've been looking for that all over!

i bought it from ebay~

the base is from CMON.

The face of the castellan is really great, although the minis doesn't really scream Templars to me. But your NMM (the gold in particular) is very very good.

And why the yellow on the dread? Come to think of it, it almost looks like the dread was painted by someone else that the other two ^^

i painted the dread long time ago when i started to try nmm, the yellow is kind of a failed experiment ^_^

That's what I thought. But your NMM got a lot better as I can see. Where did you learn it from? Could you recommend any tutorials?

AWESOME!!! How did you get the shiny black on the chaplain, i have one lying around and now MUST paint it that way! :D

edit: is it just snakebite leather and skull whit you use for NMM? The Crozius Arcanum seems to have darker colours in the recesses.

yeah just snakebite leather and skull white~

the key is gradually increase the scale of white.

for the 'shiny black', another simple trick, just highlight with codex grey and skull white.

first mix black with grey, say 1:1, then paint another layer of 1:2, then highlight with grey, then mix grey with white, end with pure white for the final highlight.

try to blend it as smooth as possible.

i try to do SENMM on the armour.

just plan where you want to reflect the light.

the color i use is the same as gold nmm. simply duplicate above/under the red line.
