Sisters Repentia

Hi,

Well instead of the Pentient Engine models I am thinking about modelling 'Repentia Engines' using Sentinel Legs with most of the Rest scratch built. But I have a question - Do the Sisters repentia com with sperate arms, or are they one piece? I want to put a Repentiant on in the Same sort of position, but If they have Integrated arms that could be difficult.

I think you can buy Repentias in 3 unit blisters but Im not sure, maby thats just the mistress. If you want them all to have the same pose then I guess you would have to buy blisters but those are kinda expensive compared to a regular box.

Ive got 3 Penitent engines myself, still in the box unbuilt (Ive bought about 20boxes of stuff in 1 month, working on my first immolator atm).

Ive read many times that allot of people think the repentia are some of the best looking miniatures GW produces but their gaming value is rather poor and a complete waste of points.

Repentia and Karmazov are the only Witch Hunter models I dont have yet. For some reason I cant find a good store to buy repentias from, are they one of those models GW refuses to sell to other stores?

Anyone know a good place to buy some? Ebay only had a fiew sellers but none has posting options to Finland where I live.

Ebay is best or direct order i find if that doesnt work.

Repentia are great looking, just the points cost is rather steap to a lot of players, i personnally field 2 full squads in large Apoc games and while running the 6 penitant engines at the opponent i find tht in most cases they make it to the other side and cause tremendous damage.

It comes down to tactics and screening them.

The Repentia models don't really suit this as they're all a single piece. You could chop some down and put different arms on (since they're just bare arms) but it'd require some nifty GS work. So you could do it but it'd require a lot of skill and effort - my thoughts are that it wouldn't be worth the time but of course that's your choice.

Apart from that as Sister Rosette said the PE models are actually pretty cool. Are you dead set against them or could you possibly mod one up a bit? They do come with a female pilot model which wears robes (which pretty much describes Repentia too).
