averykess
I am kinda stuck for what I should do now after I have gotten the basic painting done. The photos are ok, I suppose. I really need to build a photo box. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2580/4132924788_0148bf447d_o.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2521/4132162973_68020f43cd_o.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2746/4132163013_9015839123_o.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2800/4132162943_9007cc6a2d_o.jpg Any suggestions? averykess
Well, I do have another one painted up. The skull is from a Hero Quest skeleton. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2692/4132935847_da9cdeba00_o.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2485/4132935961_0be4c62bc5_o.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2473/4132936011_b61d293175_o.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2785/4132935893_349dff3104_o.jpg
IronDuke
Nice painting, although they are very shiny...as for what to do I would say don't force yourself to do anything. With the 2nd mini I may be inclined to pick out the skulls on the pistol with a bone colour, but aside from that they look pretty cool as is. If you rush into adding extra details/colours they can often detract from the finished article in my opinion.
averykess
I used Windsor & Newton ink, which is where most of the shine comes from. I'd like to flatten it, but I am worried about whatever matte finish I use messing up the mini. :tu: I dont know if I like the World Eater shoulder pad. I think my paint job there may be too cartoony.
LuNCHBiZZLe
They look great,as for the shine testors dull coat is a mat finish that works great.

The last dull coat I tried was years ago. I used the silver can Armory stuff and it made the mini look dusty.
