Levitas
I remember in the older books they explained what the individual honor markings actually meant. That info is missing from the new dex, but would be cool to add markings that have some sort of meaning. Such as heroics, marksman, ferocity etc. Anyone recall? Those such as the wolf skull and knife, the fangs, the tail, paw print etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185795-honor-markings-and-their-meanings/ Share on other sites
Grimmwulf
I don't recall exactly and I don't have the old codex at hand, But as each Wolf Lord is supposed to be highly individualistic I suppose every Company could have it's own meanings for Honor Badges. I am not even sure that meanings for all the symbols you mentioned were given. You could just make them up for your own force. jester262
The only other codex I have is the 3rd edition. It doesn't give much info on that. But according to this the skull and knife are wolf guard, the paw print is blood claws, don't know about the others though. I don't specifically remember anything about the Space Wolves-based honor markings in it. The 2nd Edition Ultramarines Codex, however, did include examples of the honorifics, like the old Iron Halo, Crux Terminatus, and the Bullet (forgot its real name) for Marksmanship. I'll have a look in there, too. V Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/185795-honor-markings-and-their-meanings/#findComment-2197587 Share on other sites
