Skirax
I'ma strange pup, but I like listening to punk rock and pop rock while I paint - namely Fall Out Boy. Anything that seems to remind me of the 40k universe. For example, in the song, A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me (I know, right?) it has a line, 'I confess, I'm messed up' and I don;t blame you for being you, but you can't blame me for hating it' which to me represents the feelings of the average civilian. Typical Cricket
Anyone listen to 'Tubular Bells' by Mike Oldfield? One movement is called 'The Caveman' and I think it suits the Space Puppies to a T. Bergtorp
What could be more Space Wolfsy than viking rock? Here I give you the Swedish wikipedia page with a selection of bands, they didn't have many on the english page. http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vikingarock Me own extreme personal favorite is the band Hel. Hel is the goddess of the kingdom of the dead in norse mythology. Here's also a little link with which you can hear a song from them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpROmRKp-5w For Russ and the Allfather! P.S. If someone wants it translated, Swedish-English, I can help you. D.S. Lord Scythican
The Sword: Age of Winters Songs about battle, supernatural enemies, Odin, and all sorts of inspiring topics. You might have heard their song, Freya, on Guitar Hero. I can't recommend them enough. Magnus I second this suggestion. The Sword is dead on for space wolfish music. ironking
Im with you all on the Pink Floyd and Led Zep. The rest I have never heard of (except Sigur Ros and Mike Oldfield). Canis Wolfborn
I prefer sad rock/pop songs because it reminds me of the eternal cold hopelessness of the 40th millenium. MaveriK
I like playing these songs in the background when I'm either painting or playing with friends as I slowly march my Space Wolves into battle footslogging ready for blood and glory.
