I'ma strange pup, but I like listening to punk rock and pop rock while I paint - namely Fall Out Boy. Anything that seems to remind me of the 40k universe. For example, in the song, A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me (I know, right?) it has a line, 'I confess, I'm messed up' and I don;t blame you for being you, but you can't blame me for hating it' which to me represents the feelings of the average civilian.

Skip all the horrible Power metal for one ;)

What could be more Space Wolfsy than viking rock?

Here I give you the Swedish wikipedia page with a selection of bands, they didn't have many on the english page.

http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vikingarock

Me own extreme personal favorite is the band Hel. Hel is the goddess of the kingdom of the dead in norse mythology.

Here's also a little link with which you can hear a song from them.

For Russ and the Allfather!

P.S. If someone wants it translated, Swedish-English, I can help you. D.S.

This has been done to death. the correct music to listen to is Obviously Amy Winehouse,

When will you young pups learn

I could easily post up some pictures that are not as flattering as the ones you have in your sig that debunks your entire post.....lol!

Dethklok- just certain songs such as The Lost Vikings, Thunderhorse (lolthunderwolf), Crush My Battle Opponents Balls, and by far their best song (also one of my favorite drum lines by gene) ever I Tampered With The Evidence At The Murder Site of Odin, i mean seriously "I'll meet you at the battle rock"

Manowar

Amon Amarth

Tyr

In Flames

Dark Tranquility

Dimmu Borgir (only Puritania and even then....i should really only listen to it when painting my chaos army)

BOLT THROWER

Naglfar

i guess just mostly bands already mentioned, man i've got to find more metal..

The Sword: Age of Winters

Songs about battle, supernatural enemies, Odin, and all sorts of inspiring topics. You might have heard their song, Freya, on Guitar Hero.

I can't recommend them enough.

Magnus

I second this suggestion. The Sword is dead on for space wolfish music.

I like playing these songs in the background when I'm either painting or playing with friends as I slowly march my Space Wolves into battle footslogging ready for blood and glory. Just add type in the http part in the beginning to listen

Great stuff! They're all good, but The Battle For Thornvik has to be my favourite.

Thanks for sharing them. They made my day. :D

At the moment I find myself painting to any MegaDeth! Hanger 18 on most days :D

I'm abit of a heavy metal lover so I could paint to most stuff i reckon!

Actually I think I had some old skool Iron Maiden blasting out from my pc yesterday! "Bring me your daughter, Bring me your daughter .... to the slaughter...!"

gotta love it hehe!
