Ragnar02
Hi, I am a new wolf player and instead of the normal chapter I decided to create my own linked to the cursed founding. It fits for that I am thankful guy who wrote C:SM. So far I have (or planning to get): Edgar the Red: 130 Pts 1 WG Battle Leader Power Sword, Runic Armour, Wolf tail talisman, Melta Bombs, Saga of the Warrior Born (Will eventually be in wolf guard as a normal warrior) Grey Hunters: 185 Pts (1 Wolf Guard: 46 Pts with storm bolter and thunder hammer) 10 Grey Hunters, 2 Plasma guns, 1 Power fist Grey Hunters: 175 Pts 10 Grey Hunters, 1 Flamer, 1 Power fist Blood Claws: 150 Pts (1 Wolf Guard: 38 Pts with power fist) 9 Blood Claws, 1 Plasma Pistol, 1 Power sword Wolf Guard: 242 Pts 8 Wolf Guard, Ingvar the Bloody: Twin Wolf Claws, Arngeir Bloodclaw: close combat weapon, bolt pistol, Haakon Brave-handed: Power axe, bolt pistol, Ketil White-Fang: Frost Axe, bolt pistol, Falki the Fierce: Power sword, close combat weapon, Osric Stormfist: Power fist, bolter (Any name suggestions for future guys would be cool) Wolf Scouts: 95 Pts 5 Wolf Scouts, 3 Boltguns, 1 Power Sword, 1 Heavy Bolter (If I ever get more scouts then I will do stinkenheims suggestion) Father Hastein: 125 Pts 1 Dreadnought, Twin-linked Multi-Melta, Extra Armour, Wolf tail talisman Sven Shadowbane(help! not great name): 60 Pts 1 Lone Wolf, Wolf Claw, Plasma Pistol, Melta Bombs Skyclaw Assault Pack: 138 Pts 6 Skyclaws, Flamer, Power fist Fenrisian Wolves: 128 Pts (Before you say anything I just want to try them for myself) 14 Fenrisian Wolves, 1 Cyberwolf Long Fangs: 95 Pts 5 Long fangs with 1 squad leader, (leader) Meltagun, melta bombs, (squad) Lascannon, Multi-Melta, Plasma Cannon, Heavy Bolter x2, Rhino: 35 Pts (Blood Claws transport) Rhino: 45 Pts Additional Storm Bolter (Wolfguard transport) (I know a landraider would be better) Drop Pod: 55 Pts Deathwind missile launcher -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- - - - - - - - - - - - - - In most games the hunters (and scouts) will take up positions and let loose with their boltguns while the bloodclaws and wolfguard will go forwards with their transports at full speed to get into combat as soon as possible. The drop pod carrying Father Hestein will land behind enemy lines and cause havoc with the help of the Skyclaws. Dunno about the Fenrisian Wolves though. Please what do you think I need next? ;) If it is a predator or maybe even the ledgendary thunderwolf cavalry itself please help me! Warhorse47
I would say a couple more Rhino/Razorbacks for transporting your guys. Use the pod with your Dread, and then get your troops into scoring position without them getting shot to doll rags. stinkenheim
i would say long fangs or maybe a predator. some land speeders could help support your advance by attacking vehicles from the side/rear armourmaybe a nother unit or two of grey hunters, helps to have bodies on the ground as for your list, i would be tempted to give the scouts sniper rifles, they have equal range to the heavy bolter so stops them having just one weapon that can fire at distance. also you have a 9 man grey hunter squad with 2 palsma guns, you need 10 to get the second special weapon. the wolf guard doesn't count towards the squad size.
