I already started assemboling my first predator take. this being the first perchase into warhammer. I was going to go with the color skeem of black base and red trim. but beyond that I'm totally clueless to where else to go.

with the help of the store reps I have chosen my weapons loadout for this take so you wont need to worry about. And at this moment I am priming the take for paint( rain henders this just a bit).

welcome to the hobby B)

i would probably choose a different colour scheme as red and black although cool doesnt stand out as something special when it is done, maybe one more colour to break them up?

what weapons were you advised, ive herad some pretty bad advise (beleive it or not one member of this fine forum was told to put their dread in an oven :S)

looking forward to pics, the predator was my first tank so it will be nice to see how you do, good luck!

thanks. well we'll see how my first take comes out.

twin lascannon turret with side heavy bolters and top mount bolter (I think)

I was wondering towards the symbols I should should be using on my take. I don't want the poor thing to be completely bare :P

Hi there ;) first off, welcome and a great choice of model! thats a decent weapons load out.

Second off, just for the future, its 'tank' not 'take' (gets a bit confusing)

What I would suggest though is that you pop into GW and ask to be shown the 'how to paint space marines' book, theres some great tips there on how to paint your vehicle. Also, if you take your vehicle with you, the staff should be happy to sit down and show you some handy stuff, they're good like that.
