nurglespuss
Hi Guys, took a bit longer than I thought it would, but for virtually the only tank in my army I'm fairly pleased :P Please let me know if you think it works! And a big thanks to all the guys on WIP & Space Wolves forum too!! http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs076.snc3/14340_349997635322_633810322_9700005_3528658_n.jpghttp://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs076.snc3/14340_349997640322_633810322_9700006_781497_n.jpghttp://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs076.snc3/14340_349997625322_633810322_9700004_7318058_n.jpghttp://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs076.snc3/14340_349997645322_633810322_9700007_7944746_n.jpghttp://photos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs056.snc3/14340_349997620322_633810322_9700003_907711_n.jpg And a phot of the inside before it was assembled ;) http://photos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs056.snc3/14340_345860030322_633810322_9650928_7941097_n.jpg Thanks guys! A couple of 'overcomes' for me: using transfers (I normally hand paint everything, I was trying to speed things up, it didn't! but I like the crisp effect!) Weathering without powders etc. I'm very resource limited up here in Aberystwyth! So I was restricted to the foundation paints, some game colours, a few standard citadels, and Klear floor polish :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/186500-finished-twin-ass-cannon-razor-back/ Share on other sites

slipshod
Looks really good, nice weathering, excellent detail on the interior, drilled barrels on the assault cannons. All that nice detail but you didn't drill out the exhaust pipes!? Otherwise looks great, I'd like to see the rest of the army. nurglespuss
Cheers mate :) I kept the exhausts capped, prevents sand getting in! Cheers! Captain Mike
When I saw the title, I was expecting two back hatches. But brilliant when I realised when it was an assualt cannon Razorback! -Brother Sargent Tiberius-
If my chapter had a carwash they could make alot of money off your space wolves... Nice painting! Pig Of Sparta
I really like the twin assault cannon conversion, it's well executed and unique look really enhances the razor's look. The paint work is really good too, and the dusting is spot on, an all round great model you can be proud of and you didn't use baby blue for your wolves either :D. Someone has to make a Thunderhawk Car Wash, it'd be a great centre piece for an army :) James Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/186500-finished-twin-ass-cannon-razor-back/#findComment-2209008 Share on other sites

Pig Of Sparta
Just looked at the photos again and notice the brass etch panels you've used, a very nice, very subtle touch :P they really add to the character of the mini. nurglespuss
Thanks again ;) I've had em lying around in the top of my tool box for ages, never figured out what I would use em for! I figured try and blend them into the armour, rather than paint them as seperate details :P thanks again! Shiodome
I like the details, painting and conversion, but i would say that you've gone overboard on the transfers. Just too many for my tastes. That is my only criticism though. :teehee: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/186500-finished-twin-ass-cannon-razor-back/#findComment-2209589 Share on other sites
nurglespuss
Thanks :D It was really fun to do! I may well have gone a little overboard, but I think the transfers make sense (purpose wise) At least they each have a purpose!
