Wolf Priest with Jump pack

You can never have enough HQs right? :Troops:

Here's my finished wolf priest, who accompanies my Wolf Lord and sky claws.

Go-go re-rolls!

Here's his brief back story:

Magne has seen centuries of battle across the star ocean, watched young wolves become lords of legend as well as over ambitious whelps finding their doom. But you would know none of this behind Magnes wry smile and cutting wit. He excels and revels in the role of mentor, able to channel his charismatic nature to produce the most talented of warriors. For which he is highly respected and regarded by even his fellow Wolf Priests.

If the Dragonbite has one flaw it is the pursuit of perfection. To scour every last drop of potential out of those under his gaze. With the rebellious nature of the wolf, he has seen many great heroes fall foul to their own zealous drive. Magne never seems to let go and somehow carries the burden of lost warriors he has trained. Which brings the Wolf Priest into the company of the Night Wolf, a warrior that will either find true glory or be consumed by Morkai. The old wolf priest watches closely, and has already saved the Wolf Lord from certain doom on many a field. Their sagas intertwining on some unexplained path.

Thanks Nurglespuss, your right. I should attach pics here. lazy wolf :whistling:

I'll add the back story to the first post. Thanks for the positive feedback! He's doing decently in games, just shame WPs took the initiative hit like SM chaplains. But I do enjoy preferred enemy more than litanies.

Yeah, I'm considering a jumppack/melta bomb/wolf tooth necklace wolf priest to go in with my skyclaws (along with a twin wolfclaw armed battle leader). I don't know how effective he'll be! But I'll have fin making the model!

do you have any pics of other characters/models in your army? (unless I've seen em already and shamefully forgotten!)

So you can put two Hq's with one unit?

You could put four if you really wanted to.

They changed the way independent characters work, you can put as many into a single unit as you want, you could also have a unit of pure IC's.

So in Apocalypse you could have the twelve Wolf Lords as a single unit and if you really want you could attach them all to a wolf guard pack. I intend on doing it at least once.

OOoooooo...

Let us know how that turns out. Sounds like fun!

This is pretty much everything I have painted so far...not the fastest of painters : / Tried to keep the HQs points down so I can utilize their basic buffing. The WP comes with PW and inv save so he's not bad, just not a combat monster. He does combine nicely with both the Wolf Lords claw and wulfen attacks.
