newbie question

Recommended Posts

Pro: +2 Armor Save, +5 Invul Save, and more weapon choices?

Con: The points they cost and that they take double the room in a transport / pod?

Edit: I guess the fact that Space Wolf Terms wont teleport either can be a con as well when compared to other chapters, but oh well.

As far as newbie questions go, I have a lot of leniancy on them, especially since I'm really new myself, but this seems to be a really simple question to answer if you just looked up Terminator armor in your codex, assuming you have one.

i am sorry, pls state it clearly

e.g:

WG in PA

Pro: ...

Con: ...

WG in TDA

Pro: ...

Con: ...

And so in this kind of situation i will use WG in PA, because etc etc

PS: i read somewhere in this forum, they say the pro of WG in PA is sweeping strike, pls explain it what is the sweeping strike ???

thx

Firstly putting all of the letter in words such as please costs nothing and missing them out only serves to irritate people, also from your lack of knowledge it seems that you perhaps have not read the codex/ main rulebook. If that is the case I suggest you do so.

Anyway...

Terminator Armor:

Pros - Better weapon selection and ranged firepower (can carry heavy weapons), better armour save, gain invulnerable save.

Cons - Cannot sweeping advance, cannot ride in rhino/ razorback, counts as 2 models in every other transport, more expensive in points costs.

Power Armor:

Pros - Can do the things that Terminator armoured WG can't (see cons above), cheaper points cost, only count as one model in transports etc. Can ride bikes or use jump packs.

Cons - Worse armor save, no invulnerable save, can't take heavy weapons.

Think thats most things.

Cheers.

Hello there and welcome to the board, Verseau

B&C actually requests from its fraters, in the rules section, that they do not use chat or "leet-speak" when writing in the forums. Write here as you would do in school.

Other than that Hjaertrr pretty much nailed the pro´s and con´s except for leaving out the Wolf Guard pack leaders bit.

Wolf Guard is cheaper and more effective with a power fist than Grey Hunters and Blood Claws. With one attack more statwise and cost a few points less they are indeed a good choice for a source of fists (if you can get at least the mandatory three WG).

seriously I cant believe this was even posted with out someone flipping out, besides me, at the pure newb-ness of it!!!

What happened to linking people to GENERAL RULES questions and answers? This is not a Space Wolf specific question at all!!!

COME ON MODS WHERE ARE YOU!!!
