My Space Wolves

Greetings Brothers,

It has been some time since I have posted here, mainly because I haven't been working on my army. But with this new codex and models, its time to get back into the game. I am a very slow painter so it may take some time before I get even close to finishing. I have so many models that need to be assembled and painted I may go crazy by the end of the project. These few models are what I have to show for about two months worth time. Well actually the Drop Pod was done over the summer, haha.

Currently working on my Nyjal and more Terminators. I have a couple of Scouts and Wolf Guard also on the assembly line.

More to come, till then,

Thanks guys, I wasn't a big fan of the Space Wolf Grey so went with a different colour scheme, ended up with that. Have a small update; my camo scheme for my army, its going to be a desert camo despite the fact that snow is the favourable terrain. Heres the test scheme which I will be using.

Personally I don't mind camo schemes on marines, even though I prefer them on scouts. Anyways, If I was you I still would add darker and light patches of colour to break up the outline. You can find some good desert camo patterns on the net. I would also paint up the right grey shoulder pad as it defeats the purpose of camo. On the left shoulder pad with the Chapter emblem I would remove the grey up to the black circle. But that's just my opinion.

Eh, I'm not sure I agree with all the "These are no Space Wolves, boy, no Space Wolves!" logic running around in this thread. Space Wolves by nature are extremely individualistic and anti-authoritarian - and this applies even to their own 'orthodoxy,' as much as they seem to have it. These guys are well within what I would personally consider the 'acceptable deviation from standards' to be for Space Wolves.

And, on an unrelated note, they're excellently painted.

The only real question I have: is the camo for desert use? I've always kind of interpreted SW as already being in camo, albeit camouflage designed for icy terrain, like that around the Fang.
