So I have been painting my Grey Knights Land Raider on and off for the the last 2 weeks but it is finally finished and I just thought that I would share what I have done with everyone here. Here are the results of my labours:

Nice scrollwork and gold on the lascannons, I am not too fond of the red on the sponsons and top, but to each their taste.

P.S. Could you please post smaller pics, just resize them in paint or something or use photobuckets auto sizing feature.

Grabsnikk,

First, I have to officially request that as per Uncle Mel's comment you adjust the size of your posted pic's. My browser had to downsize them to approximately 19% of their actual size for them to look appropriate. You should be able to accomplish this with most graphic editors, even some of the pre-installed programs already on Windows (I can't speak for Mac's). I'd hate to have to remove them or something when they look that nice ;)

Second, nice Land Raider! I always enjoy seeing some of the GK Land Raiders, as my Inquisition Land Raider is really just a bunch of red and black. I think the black section in the middle helps break up the monotony of a chrome Raider really nicely, and I like your freehand scrolls and lettering. The heraldry is also very nice :) My only bit of advice would be to add text to the book on the doors.. I tend to do a bit of a 'doctor's scrawl/scribble' for my text.. kind of a wavy black line that implies letters without actually being readable. Otherwise keep up the good work!

Thanks for the replies guys, I will indeed put some script on the Grey Knights Chapter symbols, I will be using scorched brown for this though as I feel that black lettering just looks a bit funny and unrealistic most of the time. I have resized the pics so hopefully they are better now.
Yup, pics loaded just fine and a Lot quicker too, thank you for the quick action. :D Brown text would work well also, possibly better. I haven't tried brown myself.. I'll remember that the next time I need to do some.

Nice job, but I do have a few criticisms:

Firstly, I see what you're trying to do with the blue wash on the steel bits, but I think you should have watered down the blue and/or followed up with a black wash as well. Also, when working with washes, it's really important to apply it evenly and lay the model in a way so that you won't get the washes pooling up where you don't want it to, which is what it looks like is happening in some of the areas. A little bit of uniformity would also be nice - the red and white areas look stark and unshaded without a wash, especially since the tracks and steel areas have it.

Speaking of white, it's hard to get it to come out just right, but you managed to do a fairly decent job of it, so kudos to you!

The freehand is excellent - particularly on the door, and I think the integration of the winged skull into the sword was a great idea. I am, however, somewhat disappointed by the lack thereof on the other side, although I realize that the relief work is different. It could just be the symmetry Nazi in me talking. :S

Overall great work, and I look forward to seeing more!
