minigun762
How would you decorate a rogue or stolen Titan? Does it even matter? I know this would apply mostly to Chaos armies, as they would be the most likely ones to capture a Titan so a certain amount of spikes seems appropriate, but I'm curious if there is any other standards/rules for to represent them. Blackrose
If it was "newly" rogue/stolen, i'd probably leave it's Imperial iconography on, and then blatantly and ostentatiously deface it. Either put gouges and scars through it, or daub chaos sigils over the top etc, make it look like it's been hurriedly pressed back into action. If it was a bit longer in the service of Chaos though, you could really do whatever you want, though personally i'd avoid mutations still as I always got the feeling that took quite a few years of service. Mal
Mutations of machines require deamonic posession.... not something that happens over night... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/186725-roguestolen-titans/#findComment-2208058 Share on other sites
-Brother Sargent Tiberius-
How do you steal a titan without being noticed? Oh, chaos, they would be noticed sorry. Chaos makes things all... jeffersonian000
There have been a number of Titan crews that have gone over to the Dark Mechanicus or even just gone rogue for reasons of their own. In fiction, there was a huge problem created when a cadet was plugged into a Warlord Titan while in combat, to replace the princip that had just died. 300 years later, all Warlord princips are required to be placed in embriotic tanks which replace the old-styled interface thrones, preventing anyone from stealing a Warlord other than its princip. Smaller Titans still use the older styled thrones with direct neural interfaces, meaning that those Titans can still be stolen. Thylacine
"How do you steal a titan without being noticed?" Hot wire it and quietly back it out the drive without anyone noticing you stealing it! Do they teach you nothing in school? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/186725-roguestolen-titans/#findComment-2234283 Share on other sites
RexTalon
If you were high enough (and evil enough) you could just put in fake work orders for adepts to modify the titan with various devices that would make stealing it easier. The adepts below you wouldn't dare question your authority and the individual pieces might not spark questions since they wouldn't do anything by themselves. Once they're powered up collectively they might allow you to take control of the titan entirely.
