Grey Mage
@ grey mage its party because i use a lot of scenic bases for my army and as such it means i have a larger area to work with. also it means that they stand out more inside units. no other reason really other than it looks better imo. Fair enough, it can be hard to put much on a 25mm without it looking crowded. Rizara
well for me, i don't have any blood claws of yet(just a unit of sky claws). But i use a mix of regular marine kits and the new wolf kits for my grey hunters and blood claws. My first way of seperating blood claws from grey hunters besides the obvious bolters, is that all my blood claws will not have helmets. They are young, reckless and thus they charge into battle with no helmets. My grey hunters and wolf guard will have helmets or at least have a helmet strapped to the back side of there belt, and yes even my terminators are this way too. Also i use the traditional pack marking colors to help futher seperate which is grey hunters and which is wolf guard. As for the power armor wolf guard, i only have 1 currently, however since he is this way i will probably do all future power armor wolf guards the same. My major way of telling my wolf guard will be that all my wolf guard in power armor will be conversions from the metal veteran marine models. This first makes them more unique, more customized, but also adds character to the veterans of the army who have chosen to remain in power armor. I will mostly add wolf bitz to them using the new wolf sprues, such as back packs and bolt pistols and tails. But i will also convert some wolf pelts for the models, and remove most of the standard veteran markings in favor of wolf totems and markings. My current wolf guard is from the old mk1 veteran model who was covered in studs and had a mace. I removed the mace and replaced it with an axe head, add a wolf pelt over a piece of plasti-card over his cod piece, and added a new wolf back pack with totem banner. He looks like a true veteran but wolfed up enough to fit in with the space wolves. Also his shoulder pad had the terminator honors removed, and it was just painted with the wolf guard pack markings. I will have to get a pick once he is finished being painted, but he stands out amongst his grey hunter brethren and has a great look for the army.
