Grey Slayers Box

If my memory is correct, the content was the same as in the old Grey Hunter box (10 plastic old tactical marines + the old SW accessories + decals), except they had 13th company transfer decals and one CSM sprue.

But I cant's remember the exact CSM sprue which was in it - did we have 5 CSM legs and thus there were only 5 loyalist legs available... For sure, there are CSM hands, bolters, heads, torsoes. But damn, I don't remember about legs - whether they were in the box, or I had to order them separately.... No other special weapon options aside from meltagun.

Thanks for the info. They won't arrive for a few days and I was just curious what its contents were. I have about 30 13th company marines made up so far from the old SW stuff and a box of chaos I bought, but never from the actual grey slayers box. I'm good on troops now, so next I need to figure out how I want to transport them. Anyone have any opinions on drop pod vs. rhino vs. razor back?

Well I generally like to run at least 3 packs of slayers (GH's) and I've been experimenting with maxxing them out, meaning pp/pw/melta/motw/standard and then i generally attach a wg with pp/pf to them. My thought is that troops are the only scoring units and if someone wipes them out then you can't score in 66% of the missions played, so I want to make them rock solid. I see the use of pods dropping down on the enemy, but having to footslog afterwards can be rough, then again rhinos are like coffins with 11 armour. I play against IG, eldar and other marines mostly.

I also have a pack of scouts, 15 fen wolves and wulfen that I am converting into my TWC on 60mm bases. I have 3 AoBR dreads and plenty of AoBR termies.
