Does the space wolves £50 set have all the extra head sprues, weapons and all the fancy bits that are avaliable in the space wolves 10 man pack set?

( basically i am asking if the £50 set has exactly everything from 2 space wolf 10 man pack boxes, everything from the scout and pod box )

thanks

GBP? sorry i don't do business studies..... I didn't mean do they have all the leg, arm and head/torso parts. I mean do they have all the extra fancy bling bling like thunder hammers, wolf standards etc that are in the £20 space wolve pack boxes.

thanks

GBP is the Great British Pound, possibly not that but it is our currency.

I believe Cain is on about an independent retailer.

Should be, it states two Space Wolv packs so I'd be pretty peeved if they didn't include everything.

Yep, Maelstrom Games is IMO the best of them. All these fancies are on the same sprue so You get them as they are  No way to separate them, without breaking apart the sprues. Haven't You seen them? The legs and torsoes are mixed around all sprues and there is no thing as separate legs sprue, separate torso, heads sprue and separate weapon/hands sprue - it's all on two sprues and You get doubles of each of them per ONE pack. So in the battleforce You will get 8 sprues + scouts + pod.

Having purchased this battleforce just this past weekend I can confidently inform you that you do indeed get all the bits that come in the standard Space Wolf Pack... x2. Along with the standard Scouts sprue and a Drop Pod. There are also 3 of the Space Wolves transfers sheets in the battleforce.

Personally I am waiting until I can afford a couple of the regular tactical squad boxes to mix 'n match them with the wolves to make the wolf bits go further.

dont,

i dont suggest that,

it's better to buy another SW pack,

they have the same price

but the 10 Tactical Marine have less sprue.

its better to buy another SW pack, it have more value in it,

even if you dont need the spare bitz,

you can just wait till the blood angel out,

then you can customize even more.

Imagine !!! Blood Angel with wolf tooth, and wolf tail

isn't that cute :P

yes Verseau , but i haven't said why i choose it. i need to get 40 space wolves and a pod. so the battleforce would be the cheaper option for 20 marines and a pod. i could then buy two more space wolf pack sets.

thanks

Well the biggest reason that I want the regular tac squads is for the additional weapon options since the Wolves only come with plasma guns. I'm seriously considering buying 4-5 of the "old" wolf sprues so I can get the 1-handed axes, wolf pelts with the heads on them, and the meltaguns off those. I've even been looking into buying bits from thewarstore for certain things that I want (like running legs for my blood claws but don't want to have to buy 3 Assault squads just for the legs).

Money-wise, the old Grey Hunter boxes are the best then - they still appear on e-bay from time to time.
