So I've been a long time lurker, but never a poster. I finally however got a decent Digital Camera so I'm going to post my WIP of my Company Commander. I currently don't have a name for them. Also any thoughts suggestions and comments are more then welcome. :D

Excellent selection of model and you seem to have made a nice switch of heads.

I like the shading on the cloak and although I wouldn't have thought red and purple would have worked, they actually look quite nice together!

I will be keep an eye on his progression!

Alrighty some more pictures, since I worked on it some more. And Midas the helm is from the Space Wolves sprue.

More updates, and yes I realize the paint was a bit thick on the bronze and purple. That's my fault for letting paint build up in the brush far to much. Hopefully as I've highlighted and blended a bit it'll smooth out some more. But enough of my talking, lets get to the pictures.

It reminds me of a Soul Drinker.

The reds look nice, but the purple needs something. It looks too light and bone-like. I would give it a thin wash of Leviathan Blue. The metallics look flat and need depth. I would highlight the edges of the gold with Mythril Silver, then give it a thin wash of either Devlun Mud or Gyphonne Sepia. It really depends on how you want the gold to look.

I would also do a gemming effect on the eyes rather than having them flat like that.
