I am Legion Posted December 13, 2009 Share Posted December 13, 2009 I finally began construction on my gaming table. Home to my Blood Angels. I've looked online for some suggestions, and not much comes up surprisingly. So I want to see what everyone is playing on. The first piece of terrain I want to build will be the stronghold that the mobile infantry from starship troopers fought in. But I need more ideas, specifically the colour of the table. Cpt_Reaper Posted December 17, 2009 Share Posted December 17, 2009 I plan to make 3 tables which all connect together for Apocalypse, maybe via bridges or teleporters etc. Anyway they are a volcanic planet with GREEN magma...yes GREEN magma. Table 1) Chapter Fortress and wasteland-The fortress will take up about 1/4 of the table with the rest being wasteland and hills Table 2) Ruined City- Using my Imperial City kit I'll make a large-ish city with a central square. Table 3) City defences- the very end of the board will have some bastions and such and the rest will be rock valleys and such for the attackers to use as cover. I think your Google Fu is weak. Go look what the historical guys do, Too Fat Lardies Summer Special had a detailed modular trench table build. Not how I'm doing mine, but some similiarities.
